The City of Roseau, through its Parks and Recreation Department, believes in a strong community through engagement, activities, and sport.  Through the partnership of many independent organizations throughout the city the Parks and Recreation Department works to provide broad recreational opportunities for all citizens.

City Park Campground

The Roseau City Campground is located at 900 11th Ave SE, Roseau mn 57651.  The 40 acre campground along the Roseau River contains 17 RV sites with both water and electrical hookups and 5 sites for primitive tenting.  Campground amenities include, playground equipment, sand volleyball courts, paved trails with exercise stations, fishing pier, boat and kayak launches, horseshoe pits, fire rings, picnic shelters with grills, restrooms with showers and a dump station.  Campsites are by reservation only and must be reserved online through CAMPSPOT.

Roseau Memorial Arena & North Rink

The City of Roseau and the Roseau Youth Hockey Association work cooperatively to operate two artificial ice arenas in the City of Roseau for public skating and hockey leagues.

Gilbertson Field

Gilbertson Field - Home to the Roseau Ram's, Roseau Legion and Babe Ruth baseball teams is located in NW Roseau adjacent to Roseau Memorial Arena.  This first-class baseball facility provides lighting, fencing, dugouts, batting cages, scoreboard, grandstand seating, covered seating, press box and concessions.

Oak Crest Golf Course

The City of Roseau owns and operates an 18-hole championship golf course along the Roseau River.  This course, designed by renowned golf course architect Joel Goldstrand is open to the public and provides a club house, pro shop, driving range and putting green.  Memberships and greens fees are affordable and youth under the age of 15 can play for free as specified times.

Buy a Brick Campaign for Riverview Park Improvements

The Buy a Brick Campaign is a perfect way to memorialize a loved one, honor a special occasion, advertise a business, etc.  Inscribed brick pavers can be purchased for $100/$1,000 and they will be installed in the pathways running through Roseau's Riverview Park located across from the Roseau City Center.  Paver donations are tax deductible. Paver orders are placed twice a year, January for spring installation and July for fall installation. 

  • 4" x 8" Inscribed clay paver ($100) maximum 3 lines of text per paver with maximum 14 characters per line
  • 16" x 16" Inscribed limestone paver ($1,000) maximum 6 lines per paver with a maximum of 17 characters per line
