City Water Department Needs Your Help to Identify Lead Pipes

The Minnesota Department of Health is requiring all public water systems to document what materials are used in the water service to the homes and businesses. The goal is to identify if any services are lead. The City of Roseau is required to document the material of all water services by August 2024. To complete this task, the City is requesting residents submit information about their water service or arrange an inspection by the City. By submitting the information, the City does not need to arrange an inspection to come into your home and this saves time and money, and is less disruptive to residents. Click here for more information on how to locate your water service line, identify the materials uses and how to provide photo documentation to the Water Department.
