City Council Establishes Moratorium on the Approval, Siting and Uses of Solar Projects/Solar Energy Systems

The Roseau City Council has enacted interim Ordinance Number 48 establishing a moratorium on the approval, siting and uses of solar projects/solar energy systems to allow the city time to study these new developments and modify its existing zoning ordinance to address these new solar projects/developments to protect the city's planning process and the health, safety and welfare of its citizens.

A public hearing on the interim ordinance will be held on May 6th at 5:15 pm.
