Fire Department

The 27-member volunteer fire department is responsible for providing 24-hour response to fire and emergency calls for the City of Roseau and surrounding townships which contract with the city for fire service.

The City maintains a fleet of vehicles and equipment for various types of emergency calls including; building fires, chemical and gas leaks, grass fires, automobile fires, automobile accidents, and various types of rescue missions. The Roseau fire department owns various items for performing its mission including; 3 fire engines, 2 tanker trucks, grass-fire equipment, EMT vehicle, jaws of life, infra-red camera, personal protection equipment & respirators and more.
