Commonly asked questions
1. How do I book the park shelter or the Gazebo? The system views the park shelter as a campsite and we only do full day reservations. So if you want to use the Park shelter (example June 1st), you select that day as your check in and then the following day as your check out.
2. When I select my date, the campsite or park shelter does not show up as an option, why cant I see it? That is because the date range you have selected is already booked. The system will not show any site as a option which is already booked.
3. Can I just show up and take a campsite without a reservation? NO - other campers have booked ahead for specific sites which need to be honored.
4. What is check in and check out times? 11am check out and noon check in. We ask all guests to depart their campsite by 11am so that the incoming guest can arrive at noon.
5. Who do I check in with when I arrive? The Campground is a self serve system. Campers do not need to check in with the park office if they have a reservation.
The Roseau City Campground is located at 900 11th Ave SE, Roseau MN 57651. The 40 acre campground along the Roseau River contains 17 RV sites with both water and electrical hookups and 5 sites for primitive tenting. Campground amenities include, playground equipment, sand volleyball courts, paved trails with exercise stations, disc golf course, fishing pier, boat and kayak launches, horseshoe pits, fire rings, picnic shelters with grills, restrooms with showers and a dump station. Campsites are by reservation only and must be reserved online through CAMPSPOT.
